Position Summary:

We seek an experienced and highly motivated SDR Director to lead and grow our Sales Development team. Reporting directly to the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO), the SDR Director will oversee a team of 5 Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) and drive the team's growth. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading SDR teams in a fast-paced SaaS environment, strong communication skills, and a passion for helping businesses succeed. (THIS IS NOT A REMOTE POSITION. QUALIFIED CANDIDATES MUST LIVE WITHIN THE SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA AND WILL BE REQUIRED TO WORK IN THE HQ OFFICE 2-3/WEEK)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and mentor a team of 5 Sales Development Representatives (SDRs), providing ongoing coaching, training, and performance feedback.
  • Develop and implement a scalable strategy to grow the SDR team, working closely with the CRO, Director of Demand Generation, Director of AEs, Director of CAMs, and other stakeholders.
  • Establish and track key performance metrics, ensuring the team consistently meets or exceeds targets for lead generation, pipeline development, and sales conversions.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to optimize lead generation efforts and refine messaging, positioning, and outreach strategies.
  • Foster a high-performance culture within the SDR team, encouraging collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Conduct regular pipeline reviews and forecasting with the CRO and other senior leaders, providing insights and recommendations for optimizing the sales process.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in sales development to ensure the team remains competitive and agile.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 6 years of experience in sales development or inside sales, with at least 4 years in a leadership role, preferably within the SaaS industry, is required.
  • Proven track record of managing and scaling high-performing SDR teams.
  • Strong understanding of the SaaS sales process, lead generation strategies, and CRM systems (Salesforce).
  • Experience with the following technologies is preferred: SFDC, Gong Engage, Copy.AI, Orum, Lavender, Cognism, and ChatGPT.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and adapt to a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in driving results and meeting sales targets.
OTE: $170,000–$190,000 based on experience and qualifications
